Courtney R. Biddle MMT, MT-BC

Courtney founded Progressions Music Therapy Services in 2005.  She received the Bachelor of Music Education degree with concentrations in Music Therapy and Public School Teaching from the College of Wooster (Ohio) and was certified by the Certification Board for Music Therapists in 2004.  She is a 2011 recipient of the Master of Music Therapy degree from Temple University.

Courtney is an active clinician within the professional development and continuing education efforts of the American Music Therapy Association's national and New England regional organizations.  She recently served as Vice President of the New England Region of the American Music Therapy Association (for the 2017-2019 term) and as the National Co-Chair of the American Music Therapy Association's Workforce Retention and Development Committee.

Courtney is actively engaged in promoting music therapy as a versatile treatment method across a varied spectrum of applications.  "Educating fellow professionals, parents, administrators, community advocates, and the general public about music therapy's amazing potential is among the most important work we can do as music therapists," Courtney says.  "I've seen first-hand how transformational and effective music therapy can be in real, measurable ways.  I love to introduce my emerging field to new audiences and share how it can make a difference in their lives."  She has developed numerous individual and group treatment programs in cooperation with state and local government agencies, public schools, residential care providers, rehabilitation and treatment facilities, and private customers.

David Ko MM, MT-BC, Neurologic Music Therapist

David joined Progressions Music Therapy in 2019. He received his Bachelor's in Music Therapy from Florida State University in 2013 and is certified by the Certification Board for Music Therapists. David completed his clinical internship at the Tallahassee Memorial Behavioral Health Center, working in mental health with a variety of diagnoses and populations. Additionally, he completed advanced clinical training in music therapy and received his Master's degree from Florida State University in 2015. He continued working in the mental health field in Tallahassee through mid-2019, where he worked with acute diagnoses, detox programs, and forensic psychiatric units.

David is excited about starting a new chapter in New England with Progressions Music Therapy.
